14 DAY TRIAL // 2K posted their new port for iOS in the AppStore. BioShock can be yours now for a hefty price when it comes to iOS games – $14.99 (€11.35). You have to pay attention to the device compatibility though. The game will only run on a few iOS devices.
BioShock was first released in 2007, along with the first iPhone and since then hardcore gamers wanted to have something like this on their iOS devices. BioShock is now considered one of the greatest first-person shooters of all times and you can play it on your iPhone or iPad.
The developers give the players a loud and clear warning: BioShock will not run on your device just because you are on iOS 7. The new game is only available for iPad Air, the second-generation iPad mini, iPad 4 and iPhone 5, 5c and 5s. You will not be able to play this on an iPod touch or the iPhone 4S.
The game is described as a unique shooter where you can use everything as your weapon. You will be traveling in Rapture, the underwater Utopia destroyed by the civil war. Best thing about it is that the gameplay is uniquely yours. No two gamers will experience the same encounters or be in similar situations.
This is not the only game released by 2K in the AppStore, but it will surely be the most interesting one for experienced gamers coming from other platforms. And a final note: the game is 1.65GB so make sure to have some room on your iOS device for it.
