The slow starting but majorly cool Mailbox app, which aims to revolutionize email on-the-go, is now an iPad-native application. The new version also deals a blow to some recently found bugs.

Mailbox 1.3 has arrived on the scene with full iPad support. You can now leverage the real estate of your tablet’s bigger display to “email light, fast, and mobile-friendly.”

The free app lets you swipe messages to your archive or trash, scan an entire conversation, and even snooze emails (and have them come back when you’re ready for them).

“Mailbox checks your email from the cloud, then delivers it to your phone securely. You can even get push notifications for new messages,” according to the developers.

“Add all your Gmail accounts for speedy access on-the-go.”

The service currently supports only Gmail users, but Orchestra Inc. says other email platforms will be supported soon.
