Autodesk has released a new version of AutoCAD 360 for iPhone and iPad, the company’s free drawing and drafting app that allows you to view, edit, and share AutoCAD drawings.

“This release contains a new Evernote integration. Now you can create new notes directly from AutoCAD 360 and have them linked to specific drawings,” says Autodesk.

As part of the 2.1 update, version 2.1.1 also includes support for displaying high-resolution drawings on Retina screens, improved PDF support, easy switching between Metric and Imperial units, faster app loading, improved collaboration through in-app notifications and streamlined sharing, and new options in the Properties Palette.

AutoCAD 360 requires iOS 5 and works with most iDevices currently in circulation today. AutoCAD 360 is free to download and use personally, while AutoCAD 360 Pro allows you to get more out of the app, including new drawing creation, larger file size support, advanced layer management, new tools, and lots more.
