14 DAY TRIAL // Audible.com has rolled out an updated version of the company’s iOS client app which puts digital audiobooks and more on iPhones and iPads.
The free app features a comprehensive audiobook experience with Wi-Fi delivery of your entire library, access to the Audible.com mobile store, listening stats, and more.
Version 2.0.1 brings additional narration speed options (.75x and 1.25x speeds), a new sleep timer option (for 8 minutes), as well as bug fixes and usability improvements.
For instance, the sleep timer now works when running multiple apps, and the most recent daily and monthly listening stats are now visible. Also noteworthy, the playback position no longer skips when you resume listening.
Audible is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad, and requires iOS 5.0 or later.
