Not the strangest thing that’s ever walked in an Apple retail venue, but interesting still

A person dressed up like an astronaut has been photographed in one of Apple’s iconic retail stores in New York City. The person is likely part of the Mini team promoting the car maker’s new Coupe line.

Apple’s retail stores are somewhat notorious for allowing misbehavior, which includes ordering a pizza in-store, bringing along a goat, or having a romantic dinner.

But an astronaut is always a sight to behold, be him one of the promo guys for Mini’s new Coupe, as pointed out by David Kisley, on Twitter.

The actual photo (on the left) was shot by James Nord, who used Tumblr to show it to the world. He also assigned it a tagline: “Welcome to the future, everything is extraordinary and nobody cares.”
