Complements Apple designs to the point that it copies them

Accessory makers are probably the only companies that get away with copying Apple designs, mainly because these things simply look perfectly aligned with the actual Apple hardware.

Poweradd may not have ripped off Apple necessarily, but they sure drew inspiration from the Cupertino company’s iPod line when they created the “Poweradd Pilot 2GS 10000mAh Dual USB Portable Charger Backup Battery Pack with Quick Charge and Aluminum Body Design.”

Yep, that’s the actual name and it’s highly complementary to the iPhone line of smartphones from Apple. It looks almost exactly like an iPod nano (one of the older models), and it even comes in punctured sleeves like the croc cases sold by Apple for iPhone 5c. It’s something we’d expect from Apple, rather than a third party. Scrub that. Apple would probably price it ridiculously high.

The Poweradd Pilot 2GS is made of “aviation aluminum,” and houses a high-capacity 10,000mAh Li-Ion cell. Customers are told to employ a 2.1A adapter for faster charging times.

It has dual USB ports, one 1.0A the other 2.1A, for charging 2 devices simultaneously. It also supports a lot of other phones that charge over USB (pretty much every phone or tablet out there). Check out the gallery below to see the striking resemblance to Apple’s own products.
