Sitting right next to CEO Tim Cook, and reporting directly to him in real life, John Browett is officially Apple's senior vice president of retail.
Browett has been snagged from Dixons to serve on Apple’s executive team and to oversee Apple's retail strategy and the continued expansion of its retail stores around the globe, as mentioned in the description.
According to the bios page, “John joined Apple in April 2012 from European technology retailer Dixons Retail, where he was CEO since 2007. Prior to joining Dixons Retail, Browett held a series of executive positions at Tesco plc including CEO of Tesco.com. Earlier in his career he advised retail and consumer goods clients at Boston Consulting Group.”
Browett holds an MBA from Wharton Business School and a degree in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University.
