14 DAY TRIAL // Earlier today, Vail Resorts announced the appointment of Bruce Sewell to the Company’s Board of Directors. Sewell is Apple’s general counsel and senior vice president of Legal and Government Affairs, reporting only to the CEO.
“Vail Resorts […] today announced the appointment of Bruce Sewell, senior vice president and general counsel of Apple, to the Company’s Board of Directors effective immediately,” the company said.
At Apple, Sewell serves on his company’s executive team and oversees all legal matters. Everything from corporate governance and intellectual property, to litigation and securities compliance is Sewell’s job at Apple.
But Mr. Sewell also has his personal life to attend to. One of his hobbies is skiing. He’s done it for all his life, according to Vail Resorts’ announcement, and he is known to have toured the country skiing in Colorado, Utah and Wyoming between college and law school.
He also worked as a professional ski patroller at Windham and Hunter Mountains in New York.
