Apple’s Reuse and Recycling Program has reached Germany, allowing customers to trade in qualifying devices for up to €230 ($315.49) off the price of a new iPhone at any Apple Retail Store in the country, 9to5mac reports.

A tipster named Marco tells the site that German customers can expect slightly bigger savings than those in other parts of the world: €230 ($315.49), which comes in the way of a gift card that the customers can use towards the purchase of a new iPhone. Other products can also be acquired using the saving.

According to Apple’s web site, “With the iPhone Reuse and Recycling Program you can get an Apple Store Gift Card for your iPhone. Use it towards a new iPhone‚ iPad‚ Mac, or accessory.”

To get the credits, customers must answer a few questions about the condition of the iPhone (the price estimate is guaranteed for 30 days), send their iPhone to Apple’s recycling partner (free shipping), and once the phone is evaluated the user receives the Apple Store Gift Card.

“In addition to our iPhone Reuse and Recycling program, you may even get an Apple Store Gift Card for your used Mac, iPad, or PC with the Reuse and Recycling Program,” Apple says.

Customers looking to trade in other products can visit the iPod and Mobile Phone Recycling Program page.
