Apple has released 3D Flyover support for Paris residents who own an iOS 6 device, according to a new report.

In iOS 6, Apple introduced a new Maps application built by its own software engineers, which allows users to see select major metro areas from the air with interactive 3D views that are highly photorealistic.

Users can explore cities in high-resolution with zoom, pan, tilt, and rotate features. Up until now, Paris residents couldn’t see their landmark locations, such as the Eiffel Tower, in 3D on Apple Maps. According to Igen.fr, now they can.

Flyover works on the streets, as well as for monuments, and even offers 3D Flyover support for Versailles, Aulnay-sous-Bois, Disneyland, and L’Hay-les-Roses.

There are still only a few cities in the world with support for the 3D views in Apple Maps, but the Cupertino giant is diligently working to add more cities constantly.
