This just in: Apple sent invites today to the press for its upcoming "Spring Forward' event where the company will unveil price and availability information about its highly anticipated Apple Watch device. The event will take place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, USA, on Monday, March 9.

Everyone hopes that Apple will finally announce full details about its Apple Watch product at the said event, including the final price for all editions of the smartwatch, as well as their availability. Rumors say that the Apple Watch device will most probably arrive in Apple Stores worldwide sometime in April this year.

Now we have all the details we need to believe that the Apple Watch will be available for purchase this spring. Regarding the price, it is a known fact that the cheapest edition, the aluminum Sport model, of the smartwatch will cost around $350 (€312). On the other hand, nothing is known about the regular edition or the premium, gold-plated Apple Watch edition.

As we’ve reported the other day, Apple Watch might be water resistant, as Tim Cook said on his visit at an Apple Store in Berlin, Germany, on February 25. Cheers to Harry McCracken for sharing the Apple event invite promo image and information on his Twitter account!
