Apple has released new versions of its iLive apps for iOS customers, delivering a number of minor tweaks and fixes. GarageBand users will be particularly pleased with the new update.

iPhoto 1.1.1, iMovie 1.4.2, and GarageBand 1.4.1 are all free updates available to everyone who uses the apps on their iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad.

Neither update is major, but Apple feels it’s necessary that iPhoto and iMovie users upgrade for “compatibility” reasons.

The Cupertino giant doesn’t say exactly what this compatibility update is for, but it might have something to do with the impending launch of iOS 7 later this month.

GarageBand 1.4.1 in particular “Addresses minor issues related to general performance and stability,” which spells great news for aspiring musicians who are experiencing hiccups, hangs, and crashes with the $4.99 / €4.49 app.
