Apple today offers Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 5.04 for download on OS X 10.8 systems (and newer) with the purpose of adding compatibility for new RAW formats spit out by the latest Fujifilm, Nikon, Panasonic, and Pentax cameras.

Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 5.04 is a free update that adds RAW image compatibility for new cameras to Aperture 3 and iPhoto '11. These include Fujifilm X-E2, Fujifilm X-T1, Nikon D3300, Nikon 1 AW1, Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GM1, and Pentax K-3. Weighing in at 7.25 MB, Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 5.04 applies to OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.5 with iPhoto 9.4.3 or Aperture 3.4.5, and OS X Mavericks 10.9 with iPhoto 9.4.3 or Aperture 3.4.5.

The installer package is localized in dozens of different languages, including (but not limited to) Deutsch, English, Français, Español, Italiano, Nederlands, Dansk, Polski, Português, Pусский, Svensk, British English, Magyar, Română, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.
