Owners of the puck-sized Apple TV set-top box (mostly in the UK) are reporting missing video sections. One customer writing on Apple Support Communities says Apple is aware of the issue.
As customers continue to discuss the problem – which seems to have expanded to many parts of the world – one user who claims to have spoken to Apple’s tech support says, “They advised me to restore my Apple TV and hopefully that would fix the issue.”
Unfortunately, that didn’t solve the problem for user CAppleA, who proceeded to call Apple’s support people back, “and they told me they knew about this problem and that Apple were upgrading their systems and the icons should appear again soon,” he writes.
According to the same user, Apple’s tech support mentioned that the US and Luxembourg stores remain unaffected.
