Alongside the new iOS 7 Beta 5 release, Apple today seeded a new Apple TV beta to its sea of developers.

The Cupertino, California-based computer giant mentions a single change in the release notes for Apple TV 5.4 Seed 4, and that is the ability to use an iOS 7 device to set up the black box “after restoring or resetting all settings.”

The seed notes also mention that iPhone 4 and iPad 2 don’t support this feature.

Apple TV Software Beta 4 is a pre-release version of the Apple TV Software and is intended for testing AirPlay with third-party iOS apps.

Weighing in at 660MB, Apple TV Software Beta 4 is available Apple TV 3rd generation Revision A, Apple TV 3rd generation, and Apple TV Software 2nd generation, from the iOS Dev Center.
