The members of a class action lawsuit regarding Apple’s widely publicized Antennagate fiasco are beginning to receive checks amounting to a whopping $15 (€11.48), which represents their settlement award in the suit.

In 2010, iPhone 4 owners who were dissatisfied with their phone’s reception started a class action against Apple Inc. demanding compensations.

This week, the first notices from Apple’s “iPhone 4 Settlement Claims Administrator” are beginning to trickle in.

The memo reads, “Enclosed is a check in the amount of $15.00 representing your settlement award in the Apple iPhone 4 Settlement Class Action Settlement.” You’ve gotta love the jargon!

It adds, “The amount of your settlement award has been calculated pursuant to the terms of the Settlement that was approved by the court.”

Those who are receiving the checks must cash them in by July 16. If you fail to cash it in by then, the check will be null and void.
