New campus starts to take shape, flyover video shows

For reasons far too obvious to even mention, flying drones carrying high-resolution video recorders above Apple Campus 2 has become a thing. People simply love seeing the circular-shaped building take shape.

Once every week, another one of these videos hits YouTube. This time we’re watching the 4K work of myithz whose footage clearly shows massive progress since the last time we glanced over Apple’s colossal project.

Construction on the skeleton of the building is well underway, with roughly 15 percent of the circle taking on some volume. We suspect that by the end of the month, this particular phase of the project will come full-circle, as they say.

The video is best watched in the highest-resolution available, so if you have a screen that can do justice to the 4K recording, don’t hesitate to choose the appropriate setting behind YouTube’s handy gear button down in the right-hand corner.

Don’t expect the entire thing to be completed any time soon, though. While it may appear that progress is being made in a fast paced manner, the project isn’t due for completion until late 2016. And considering the scale of the initiative, don’t be surprised if that estimate is off by a few months.
