A new wave of invitations has been sent out by Apple for developers who haven’t yet tested iWork for iCloud beta, a web-based version of the company’s productivity suite.

In what effectively puts iWork on all computers with a modern web browser installed, apps like Kenote, Pages and Numbers are now available in the cloud via the latest version of Safari, Chrome, or Internet Explorer.

According to Apple’s invitation, “iWork for iCloud lets you create beautiful documents, spreadsheets, and presentations using Pages, Numbers, and Keynote in your browser on a Mac or PC.”

The offering is currently in beta, and only registered Apple Developers can access it. Which is why Apple asks testers to note that “these web apps are in beta and it’s important that you regularly maintain a local backup of your documents.”

To get started using iWork for iCloud, registrants must visit beta.icloud.com with one of the aforementioned web browser and sign in with the Apple ID associated with their developer account.
