A new Preview of OS X Server 3.1 is available to developers today, featuring a number of small changes and some known issues that are in need of fixing.

Apple tells developers to install OS X Server 3.1 Preview 13S4101b on a computer running OS X Mavericks 10.9.2, adding that this build supports upgrade and migrations from OS X Snow Leopard Server 10.6.8, according to a person who is familiar with the matter.

Since the latest build was seeded, Apple has been able to fix a number of bugs. For example, the Internet Access pane now correctly displays services available over the Internet. Some general bug fixes are also included, but our source could not provide any further details.

Some known issues continue to affect Wiki Server, Xsan, Network Settings, Xcode Server, Caching Server, and other areas. Developers looking to download OS X Server 3.1 Preview 13S4101b must visit the Mac Dev Center and log in with their credentials.
