Shape the tone of your tracks with Visual EQ

In tandem with Logic Pro X 10.1, a new version of Logic Remote was released this week, offering music producers new ways to mix and compose their music across a variety of genres and styles.

The changes in Logic Remote can be counted on the fingers on one hand, but all of them matter if you ask someone who uses the sidekick app. For instance, you can get access to Logic or Audio Unit plug-in parameters thanks to a new plug-in view, and you can shape the tone of your tracks with a visual equalizer (Visual EQ) using intuitive Multi-Touch gestures that needn’t even be explained to you.

You can add or re-order plug-ins remotely now. The microphone and other input settings for compatible audio interfaces can now be controlled from the iPad app as well. You won’t be able to use all this unless your tablet is running iOS 8. There’s no iPhone version either, so don’t bother looking for one in the App Store. That army of knobs and sliders needs a fair amount of space to sprawl out for you to use conveniently.

Download Logic Remote for free using the supplied link and test out these new enhancements with the all-new Logic Pro X 10.1 on your Mac.
