14 DAY TRIAL // On the Support/Downloads section of its website Apple is listing availability for a new set of printer drivers targeting owners of HP hardware. The driver package is a hefty one, measuring 439.55 MB in size.
Apple says, “This download includes the latest HP printing and scanning software for OS X Mountain Lion, OS X Lion and Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard.”
In other words, the three most widely used OS X versions are getting the same treatment. Apple, however, doesn’t mention which new printers are being supported as of this release.
The Mac maker refers customers to this address http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3669#HP for information about supported printer models.
The “HP Printer Drivers v.2.13 for OS X” installer is localized in Deutsch, English, Français, Español, Italiano, Nederlands, Dansk, Norsk Bokmål, Polski, Português, Português Brasileiro, Pусский, Suomi, Svensk, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.
