Apple today rolled out a fresh MainStage update for music makers who employ a Mac, delivering a number of important fixes, including one that patches graphical bugs on AMD cards.

MainStage 3 is a live performance tool for musicians, which lets you take your Mac to the stage with a full-screen interface, flexible hardware control, and a truckload of plug-ins and sounds that work with Logic Pro X, the latest version of Apple’s professional music creation software.

MainStage version 3.0.1 is said to improve “overall stability and performance,” by fixing several issues with the program, including one that could cause content downloading to stall, as well as graphic glitches that could occur on Macs with an AMD solution.

For users experiencing CPU spikes when using the Arpeggiator MIDI plug-in, update 3.0.1 delivers the necessary fixes. Finally, adding and renaming markers in the Playback plug-in should now work properly, Apple says.
