Apple has published a PDF report compiled by Keyser Marston Associates, Inc. (KMA) for the City of Cupertino under contract with the Mac maker.

Addressing “the economic and fiscal impacts generated by Apple’s presence in Cupertino, both currently and upon the completion of Apple Campus 2,” the report also includes details on job creation and the construction of its new spaceship campus.

On the primary topic, Apple states, “With net annual sales in excess of $156 billion, 16,000 employees currently based in the Cupertino area, and annual purchases from local Silicon Valley-based businesses of $4.6 billion, Apple is a cornerstone of the Silicon Valley economy and of the fiscal resources of the City of Cupertino.”

Regarding Apple Campus 2, the company reveals it will fund over $66 million (€50 million) in “public improvements” that are to be built around the spaceship campus and throughout the City of Cupertino.

Per the report, other community benefits will include:

- $50.2 million (€38.3 million) of roadway, traffic, intersection, landscape and utility improvements; - $10 million (€7.6 million) of bicycle and pedestrian facilities; - $3.7 million (€2.82 million) in park land; - a $2.5 million (€1.9 million) contribution for affordable housing.

Apple will also spend around $35 million (€26.7 million) each year on “a transportation demand management program, to implement the company’s alternative commute program,” says the report.
