On the Support section of its website, Apple this week has posted a new troubleshooting guide targeting Apple TV customers who are having problems with Wi-Fi networks and connections.

Released as a typical KB article with “symptoms” and “resolution” sections, the document acknowledges that there are various issues that a user may encounter when attempting to connect his / her Apple TV to a Wi-Fi network.

Per the knowledge base article, the issues that may arise include: the inability to locate a Wi-Fi network; the inability to join a nearby Wi-Fi network; the set-top box is connected to a Wi-Fi network, but is unable to access content; the connection is experiencing intermittent disconnects or other issues.

If your Apple TV is acting up in one of these ways, there’s no need to despair as there are some basic troubleshooting tips and techniques to get Wi-Fi up and running on your Apple TV (2nd and 3rd generation) which Apple outlines in KB article TS4546. So have a look at it and try some of the steps described there.
