Apple has released updated Final Cut Pro X tutorials to outline the best practices for backing up, consolidating, and moving video projects.

Support document HT5773 states, “Use these helpful resources to learn more about backing up and organizing your Final Cut Pro X projects.”

Apple then proceeds to post a handful of tutorials on the same page, each taking users to separate areas of the Support site where each action is described in detail.

For example, users can access a guide for the best practices to update FCP X, whereas other tips & tricks include backing up projects (including Library and Events), copying or moving events (and the steps a user needs to take before these actions), as well as tips for organizing projects and editing a movie on a different computer.

A bunch of user guides are also offered for Motion 5, and Compressor 4, the two companion apps for retouching projects. Lastly, Apple offers support resources.
