Over the weekend, an interesting thing happened: Apple discontinued several of its 15-inch MacBook Pro models, which is the company’s tacit way of saying that new models will be made available in the near future.

Today, a report coming from French Apple blog Mac Generation confirms all the suspicions by revealing that the tech giant is about to roll out a new 15-inch MacBook Pro and a 27-inch iMac on May 20.

The source has a good track record, and given the fact that a bunch of models have been discontinued, it shouldn't come as a surprise if the predictions turn out to be true. The report also says the 15-inch MacBook Pro is going to be the first to arrive with a Force Touch trackpad.

Apart from that, no specifications about the new models have been revealed, although it is hypothesized that the MacBook Pro models will come with Intel Broadwell on the inside.

When it comes to the new iMac, things are even shadier, but we can’t help but think about an earlier report in which we told you that LG revealed the existence of a massive 8K iMac poised to be launched sometime this year. So could this be it? It’s just a thought at this point, but who knows?
