The WWDC 2015 event has just started, and Apple has delivered its awesome keynote speech earlier, where we've learned about the new features coming to its operating systems, including iOS, Watch OS, and OS X.

We've also learned about Apple's new music streaming service called Apple Music, as well as about the redesigned Music app, the new News app, the enhancements added to the Apple Pay payment service, and the improvements introduces in the Health, Maps, Notes, CarPlay, and Wallet (formerly Passbook) apps.

We've also learned about the fantastic new features implemented in the upcoming OS X 10.11 "El Capitan," iOS 9, and Watch OS 2.0 operating systems, but probably the most amazing thing that has been introduced today is the Swift 2.0 programming language that will be open source and available for Linux, Mac OS X, and iOS operating systems.

"Swift will be open source later this year, available for iOS, OS X, and Linux," says Apple during its keynote speech at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2015 event. "Swift provides a single language to easily create apps for both iOS and OS X."

For those of you who are not in the loop, we can tell you that Swift is an innovative new programming language designed by Apple for its OS X and iOS operating system, providing a concise yet expressive syntax that lets developers build lightning-fast apps. Swift makes writing code easy as pie.
