Apple’s Messaging Services team is seeking “a talented software engineer” to help the company “develop Apple's messaging platform.”

Like most of Apple’s iCloud services, iMessage hasn’t been the most reliable communication platform as of late, but the company is struggling to improve it.

Evidence of that comes straight from the Cupertino giant itself, which constantly seeks new talents to improve its cloud services.

According to a job advert for Software Engineer - Messaging Services, Apple needs someone to “build the server stacks for iMessage, FaceTime, Apple Push Notifications, and other systems.”

The new recruit will design system architectures, implement high performance code, develop scalability strategies for applications, and specify custom network protocols.

Key qualifications include over three years of experience in software development, and familiarity with modern server technologies, among other traits.
