Devices to debut in 30 additional countries on Friday, October 25

Apple’s newest iPhone models are making their international debut Friday, October 25, expanding availability to almost 30 new territories. On November 1, over a dozen other countries will receive shipments.

Minutes ago, Apple issued a formal announcement stating that “iPhone 5s, the most forward-thinking smartphone in the world, and iPhone 5c, the most colorful iPhone yet, will be available in Italy, Russia, Spain and more than 25 additional countries on Friday, October 25.”

A complete lowdown of the countries set to receive shipments is offered, with Apple enumerating the countries as follows:

“iPhone 5s and 5c will be available on Friday, October 25 in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, French West Indies, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macau, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Reunion Island, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan and Thailand.”

On November 1, 16 new territories will start selling the handsets, including Albania, Armenia, Bahrain, Colombia, El Salvador, Guam, Guatemala, India, Macedonia, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and the UAE.

Availability of the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5c is currently limited to the US, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore, and the UK.
