With one week to go before the ceremonious Worldwide Developers Conference kicks off, Apple has released the official WWDC 2013 app.

Freely available for download, the software enables attendees (and not only) to “browse times, locations, and descriptions for sessions, labs, and special events.”

But that’s just a summary of the app’s features. The WWDC app also lets you mark schedule items as favorites, watch session videos, get notifications and daily snapshots, view maps of Moscone West, provide your own feedback, and use Passbook for faster registration on-site.

“Make the most of the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference with the WWDC app. Even if you can’t join us in San Francisco, you can still follow along each day — session videos are just a tap away for all Registered Apple Developers,” says Apple.

You’ll need an iOS 6.1 device to install the app, and every iDevice that supports the firmware is good to go, including iPads.
