Some countries get gift cards, others get small discounts on iDevices and Macs

Apple has kicked off a rather disappointing Black Friday sale, with iTunes Gift cards for countries like Australia and New Zealand, and small discounts in some European territories. US customers also pay full price for any iDevice or Mac.

What’s more is that the Cupertino company has somehow left out the Retina iPad mini from its Black Friday deals. All other iPads have discounts or gift cards associated with them.

Same goes for the iPhone, as in customers cannot get more for their money. Pricing remains unchanged for iPhone purchases, regardless of where you’re coming from.

While the exclusion of the iPhone was somewhat expected, the situation with the Retina iPad mini is surprising.

Purchases that do have discounts and gift cards associated with them include iPad Air, iPad 2, the original iPad mini, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, iPod touch, iPod nano, Apple TV, and various accessories for these devices.
