In recognition of the December 1st World AIDS Day, Apple stores across the globe are now featuring a red logo. Apple has been a long supporter of the (RED) campaign fighting AIDS in Africa.

World AIDS Day, held on December 1st every year, is dedicated to raising awareness about the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection.

When you buy a (PRODUCT) RED from Apple, the company gives a portion of the purchase price to the Global Fund to fight AIDS in Africa.

You can purchase a (PRODUCT) RED iPod shuffle, iPod nano, iPod touch, iPad Smart Cover, iPad Smart Case, or iPhone Bumper.

Apple and Starbucks have also joined forces to sell a $30 iTunes/Starbucks gift basket that supports the (RED) program.

Finally, supporters of the initiative can buy the Dance (RED) album on iTunes. All proceeds go to fight AIDS.
