According to CNBC’s latest BREAKING tweet, Apple and HBO are in talks for Apple TV to be a launch partner for “HBO Now,” HBO’s highly anticipated standalone web streaming service, which will be announced this spring with the premier of fifth season of the acclaimed “Game of Thrones” TV show.

This piece of news comes straight from International Business Times, which claims that the new “HBO Now” video streaming service will cost $15 (€13.5) per month and is tailored specifically for people who don’t have a cable subscription.

Apple TV owners will be among the first to get the new “HBO Now” Web-only streaming service as HBO and Apple are in talks these days about making Apple TV one of the launch partners for the forthcoming service.

Please keep in mind that the new “HBO Now” service is not a replacement for HBO Go, which currently allows existing HBO cable TV subscribers to access the service on the go, on their mobile devices, wherever they are.

With “HBO Now,” anyone will be able to access HBO’s content without having to get a cable subscription. Finally! All we can do now is to pray and hope that we will be able to access HBO’s streaming service from anywhere in the world.
