Apple is airing a new television spot to promote its new line of iPods. Appropriately titled “Bounce,” the ad shows the three members of the iPod family (shuffle, nano, and touch) bouncing around to a catchy tune.
Apple this year aims to further unify its iPod lineup. This time around, all of the company’s players are selling in a rainbow of colors, including the big iPod touch, which now features a four-inch Retina display.
The players are all made with aluminum. When anodized (intentionally corroded), the material can be given a highly-resistant coating.
The end result is a vibrant color thanks, in part, to the silvery aluminum itself.
The new iPod nano and iPod touch ship with Apple’s new EarPods – headphones designed in accordance with the geometry of the ear, according to the company’s chief designer. The new shuffle, however, is said to ship with the same old headphones.
