Apple began airing a new commercial promoting the new iPad’s Retina display. The ad aims to depict the much improved user experience thanks to the denser screen.

The ad shows activities such as emailing, reading books (including iBooks textbooks), watching movies and TV shows, editing a pie chart in Numbers, using iPhoto to edit and manage memorable pictures, using drawing apps to create “a masterpiece,” and more.

“Whatever you do on iPad, do it all more beautifully than ever with the stunning Retina display,” reads the company’s description.

The Retina display has become one of the key selling features across three product categories at Apple, the latest of which is the MacBook Pro. The company loves to entice customers by showing off the dense pixel matrix making up these displays, as well as the high-quality experience offered by this particular piece of hardware.
