Apple and the Swiss Federal Railway service have come to terms on the use of Hans Hilfiker’s clock design in the iPhone and iPad.

Accused of ripping off the SBB to use a brilliant clock design in its iOS operating system, Apple agreed to meet with the black suits at Swiss Federal Railway to discuss a licensing deal.

No figures were disclosed but, according to the Swiss company’s press room (machine-translated), “For the use of the SBB station clock on devices like iPad and iPhone, the Swiss Federal Railways SBB and Apple have agreed and signed a license agreement. The parties have agreed to give the amount of the license fee as well as other details about the Convention any further information.”

To make it clear for everyone, the actual sum will be disclosed at a later date, but that’s not necessarily a must.
