14 DAY TRIAL // Amid rumors of launching an AirPort-equipped set-top box this year, Apple has posted an updated FAQ on its Support site detailing the various ways to reset an AirPort base station.
Perhaps anticipating a flood of complaints regarding tangled connections around the house, Apple has posted an article which “answers frequently asked questions about resetting your AirPort base station.”
KB article HT3728 includes various steps that a user must take to reset a specific device, such as a normal AirPort station, or a Time Capsule.
The reason for this documentation update is mere speculation on my end. Although Apple may well introduce its rumored AirPort TV box, the company could simply be carrying out a routine maintenance of its Support site, updating it with new information as it becomes available.
