14 DAY TRIAL // Amazon.com has announced an update to its Instant Video iOS app which adds full support for iPhone and iPod touch players, enabling users to stream and download Amazon Instant Video movies and TV episodes from their video library directly to their iDevice.
According to the release notes for Amazon Instant Video 1.4, the app is now available on iPhone and iPod touch. Previously, the Amazon Instant Video iOS app was only compatible with the iPad.
The software now supports iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and all iPad models that can handle iOS 5.0 or later. The app is also optimized for the newer 4-inch displays on the iPhone 5 and fifth-gen iTouch.
The software is also universal now, meaning you’ll download a single app for all your iDevices.
