Apple could be switching back to quieter vibration device in the next iPhone
There’s no shortage of rumors regarding Apple’s upcoming iPhone model, and the latest so-called “spy-shots” from China seem to support every last one of them.Apple seems to have commissioned production already, or at least has ordered some prototypes to be made for testing.
In any case, these pictures show what experts say is a “linear oscillating vibrator,” replacing the rotational motor that uses a counterweight (currently found in the iPhone 5).
Aside from that, everything else is pretty much the same, including the dimensions and the design. Apple is believed to launch a multi-color iPhone 5S line, in order to make up for the lack of any revolutionary new features.
Some even believe Apple doesn’t afford to launch another “S” iteration of the iPhone, while others are convinced the company will actually roll out a cheaper (plastic) model this time around.
And these photos could well show current-generation iPhone 5 units. Don’t get too excited. Nothing conclusive has been leaked yet, and WWDC is still months away.
