“It has been our privilege to support iPhone users with cross platform services”

Berated by Apple for saying “Consumers really don’t care that much what platform they are on…,” Glide app developer TransMedia has been forced to cancel that statement with a new media announcement.

One that not only doesn’t mention other platforms, but praises the iPhone in a seemingly forced manner.

“Just two days after launch, Glide for iPhone is in the top 50 Free iPhone Productivity Apps on the App Store,” reads the new press release.

Not exactly a feat worthy of headlining, but hey, everyone is free to promote their business in any way they see fit.

The announcement includes a new statement from the CEO, Donald Leka, who now has nothing but love for Apple and its iPhone.

“It has been our privilege to support iPhone users with cross platform services since July 2, 2007, just three days after the launch of the first iPhone. We look forward to continuing to expand Glide's cross platform services for iPhone and rolling out the all new Glide Service over the coming weeks,” says Leka.

For those who aren’t familiar with TransMedia’s Glide app, it connects your devices and cloud services for easy sharing and publishing. Glide also converts file formats (automatically) when needed.
