Aired yesterday on CBS, and now available for streaming on your Mac or PC with the latest Flash player installed, the interview sheds light on many aspects of Steve Jobs’ life, including defiance, what he had to say about his rivals, his secret liver transplant, his advice to President Obama, and more.

According to Walter Isaacson’s interviewers, Jobs was already gravely ill with cancer when he asked the author to write an honest book about both his failings and his strengths.

The video also features some actual recordings of the late Apple co-founder speaking freely about his competitors. For example, Jobs said of Microsoft that they were ‘dumb’ because even when they tried to copy the Mac they did a poor job at it.
