500px has issued an update to its official iOS client app for iPhone and iPad customers improving network usage and scrolling in Notifications and comments, just to name a couple of enhancements.

In addition to the aforementioned tweaks, 500px 2.0.1 includes performance and stability improvements, and iOS 6 sharing support for iPad, according to the release notes.

iPad users can finally send off impressive works to their friends, complete with Creative Commons license information. The update also fixes a problem loading user avatars in comments on tablets.

500px requires an iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation), or iPad (any model starting with v2 and newer), and iOS 5.0 or later. The app displays full-screen on the iPhone 5 and iPod touch (5th generation).
