A few select customers are reporting that Apple has loaded their iMacs for shipping with an estimated delivery date of December 13. Apple has recently changed the delivery estimates on its high-end iMacs to January.

Previously thought to ship in as much as four weeks, some 27-inch iMac configurations are now slated to arrive as early as December 13 for some buyers.

A screenshot uploaded by 9to5mac seems to confirm that Apple is doing everything in its power to deliver the goods before Christmas.

The 27-inch Late 2012 iMac starts at $1,799 in the United States. In Europe, the system sells for €1,879 and can go all the way up to 2,049 ($1,999 in the US) for the 3.2GHz model with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675MX graphics.

Visit the Apple online store to place your order today. Also worth mentioning is that 21.5-inch iMacs ship in 7-10 business days.
